Nothing is more frustrating when you are printing important information from your printer and you run out of ink. It may be that you have had warnings, but you have ignored them, in the hopes that you will get just a few more copies before you have to insert another ink cartridge.
There are so many brands and types of printers on the market today. Not only are more printers being introduced every day, but the ink cartridges that go with them are changing as well, and the older printer you have will not be compatible.
When you buy your new printer there will be information and instructions as to what kind of ink cartridges the printer will use and how to remove and insert the new printer. Always keep the information on the correct cartridge in a place you will remember. You can always remove the empty ink cartridge to get the information for a replacement.
When you go online, or to a supply store, take the cartridge information with you, or write it down on a piece of paper. If you know the brand name or model number of your printer, the new ink cartridges will give information as to what printers the cartridges are for.
