Print only what you must: Don’t print unless you have to! This is terrible for the ink industry but good for the environment – don’t waste paper or ink when you can simply email or write something down.
Recycle your cartridges: If you’re going to throw an ink cartridge away take it to a designated recycler so it will be disposed of properly. There are right and wrong ways to do it so make sure you technology source is responsible.
Refill your cartridges: Instead of throwing them out and getting new ones each month, take your cartridge to a refiller and save some money while you’re at it. They can put back in the exact kind of ink you’re out of and it will cost half as much as a totally new ink cartridge.
